Admission Requirement In the Dual Degree programme the students receive a B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering and M.Tech. degree in one of these seven streams at the end of 10 semesters of course and project work:

  • Infrastructural Civil Engineering
  • Building Technology and Construction Management
  • Environmental Engineering
  • Geotechnical Engineering
  • Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering
  • Structural Engineering
  • Transportation Engineering

The admission to this programme is through the highly competitive Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted at the national level in which only about 1% of the candidates who appear for this examination are selected for admissions to different IITs. Degree Requirement The M.Tech (Dual Degree) program is a minimum of ten semester full time study program. Students take courses in basic engineering and sciences in the first year and courses in Civil Engineering starting from second year. The students need to complete a total of 195 credits, with a final year research project accounting for 16 credits.Click here to know more about the exact curriculum.
