Professional Experience:

 

 

From November 1996 to December 2002 (6 Years 1 Month)

Scientist with the Deltaic Regional Centre, Kakinada of National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee. The NIH is a premier research organization in the filed of hydrology under the Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. of India. The nature of duty involved research and development activities in the field of hydrology. Major responsibilities include processing and analysis of data, database design, development and validation of hydrologic simulation models.

From January 2003 to May 2003 (5 Months) 

Visiting Faculty with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur in the Department of Civil Engineering. Major responsibilities included teaching undergraduate and graduate students, and conducting regular research studies.

From May 2003 to March 2009

Assistant Professor with Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai in the Department of Civil Engineering. Major responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate students, supervising Masters and Ph D research work, conducting regular research programmes.

From March 2009 till date
